According to video footage obtained by the publication, Young, the third overall choice in the 2006 NFL Draft who played six seasons and was selected for two Pro Bowls, looked to be having an altercation with several males inside Tokyo Joe’s Shot Bar before things became ugly.

Someone was holding back the 40-year-old Young, who was wearing a black t-shirt and a white cap, when pushing started and a drink was hurled.

It’s unclear what was spoken, but after exchanging words, the former Heisman Trophy runner-up is seen pushing many males. Then violence breaks out.

In the video, a man seems to smack a drink in the face of another man. The same man is shown tossing an elbow that hits flush a few seconds later.

More punches are exchanged as the fight moves to the opposite side of the bar. Right when it seems like things are starting to get under control… A massive haymaker is thrown at Young, sending him flying to the ground.

The owner of the pub called the Houston Police Department, who confirmed to TMZ that the altercation turned physical when he requested the group to leave. The owner said the altercation began as a discussion about race.

According to reports, the owner also claimed that he was the one who was elbowed in the head and had a drink thrown in his face.

It’s hard to tell what was said during the incident because the camera was silent.

The proprietor of the pub did not want to prosecute charges, therefore no arrests were made and no identities of the other individuals involved were disclosed, according to TMZ.
